We’re back with some more amazing photos from our recent engagement session in San Francisco with Alex and Lawrence Michael, and their photos only get better! These two energetic San Franciscans are all about style, design, and acting in the big city. With their wedding fast approaching in October, they wanted an engagement session with some urban flair set in San Francisco’s eclectic Chinatown district.
Big personalities call for some big architecture! We love the bright colors and symbols that decorate the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association building in Chinatown.
We couldn’t ask for a more inspiring backdrop! The natural gradient of this blue brick wall is so colorful and fabulous. And the expression on Alex’s face is priceless!
We can’t get enough of odd angles and geometric patterns – there are so many juxtaposing lines in these images. Not to mention that crazy sloping street! It might be the only time in the shoot that Alex and Lawrence Michael sat down and stopped moving!
Aren’t puff pastries the food of love? Perhaps in the hands of these two! Chinatown offers such a variety of specialty foods you’d never be able to try them all!
“He loves me… he loves me not….” I don’t think we have to resort to plucking petals to know how these two feel about eachother!
Don’t both Alex and Lawrence Michael look like the romantic type? They had us fooled! Alex let us in on his secret, “I’m not romantic by nature. It was only romantic because I proposed to him, when everyone would have expected the other way around. And that’s why I did it.” And how did he propose? “At a restaurant over dinner… no frills. It wasn’t a big to-do.” We think he’s more romantic than he gives himself credit for!
Alex and Lawrence Michael made it clear that they wanted to “celebrate love!” with their engagement shoot. We think it’s apparent that they celebrate it all the time!
The cutest couple is a one with unstoppable chemistry, and Alex and Lawrence Michael are the perfect example of a match made in San Francisco heaven!
