Since Lyndsey and Sameer was recently featured in Smitten Mag‘s March issue, we just knew we had to share a little more from their incredible Viansa Winery Indian wedding. Lyndsey and Sameer’s big day included a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony followed by a reception inspired by their love for wine country and the couple’s Western, Indian, and Mexican cultures. Taking place at Viansa Winery tucked away in the ever gorgeous Sonoma, California and coordinated by Amrit of Anais Events and Design, it was definitely one of the most memorable and unique weddings of the year.
This outdoor space at Viansa Winery was the perfect location to showcase Lyndsey and Sameer’s Indian wedding. The wedding ceremony took place on a stage in this beautiful courtyard, and was draped in soft peach fabric curtains to frame the celebration.
There were so many unique details, including these gorgeous elephant topiaries found around both the ceremony and reception spaces at this Indian Viansa Winery wedding. We were lucky to be able to capture some beautiful photographs of the preparation process with Lyndsey, as she was adorned in makeup, jewels, and her gorgeous red wedding dress.
This photo of Sameer and his family helping him make sure his outfit was perfect is one of our favorites.
Both the bride and groom wardrobes were so ornate and absolutely stunning!
We were completely obsessed with Lyndsey’s wedding day henna. The complex designs and flourishes complimented her wedding gown perfectly.
Sameer’s family shared a quiet, contemplative moment together as they walked with him towards the festivities.
Sameer arrived at the wedding in style – with an entire parade in tow. We can’t get enough of the excitement that this jubilee contained!
Sameer walked with Lyndsey’s parents to the Viansa Winery ceremony. Everyone was dressed in traditional Indian clothing for the celebration. The textures and range of bright colors were amazing!
As the ceremony came to a close, we couldn’t wait to take more portraits of the bride and groom and then follow them to their Viansa Winery wedding reception!
