We were so excited when Abbey and Josh asked Tinywater to be their Sonoma wedding photographer. Their enchanted forest themed wedding took place at the gorgeous Dawn Ranch Lodge in Northern California. Dawn Ranch is located just twenty minutes from the Pacific coast, along the Russian River, and nestled in 15 acres of towering redwood trees and lush riverbank. Locations like Dawn Ranch is what makes us absolutely love being a Sonoma wedding photographer!
The bride and her bridesmaids were prepared for the rain with their adorable pink and polka dotted rain boots! They looked so fabulous and the idea was such a fun and practical twist on the traditional wedding day outfits.
Can you believe how cute this little guy is? Abbey and Josh’s pup was very present on their wedding day, and even had his own little puppy outfit picked out for him, complete with cuffs, cuff links, and the sweetest little bow tie!
We were head over heels for Abbey sporting this fur coat before it was time to put her wedding dress on. It’s so lovely in this light! The rest of the girls had little fur shrugs and coats to help brave the chilly rain as well!
Josh’s outfit was quite stylish as well, donning a purple paisley pocket square paired with a purple polka dotted tie, he was looking quite dapper on his wedding day.

The way these groomsmen and bridesmaids handled the rain in such style really makes you re-think the constant worry of having rain on your wedding day a bad thing. As a Sonoma wedding photographer, we were really impressed at how this group made the rain look so effortless and beautiful!
We felt so lucky to be the Sonoma wedding photographer for this whimsical wedding. Redwood branches, twigs, and pine cones were paired with mushrooms, moss, and flowers for a real enchanted forest feel.
The couple also had a collection of vintage books stacks around the reception area, making the whole day really seem like a magical fairy tale. We can’t wait to show more of the fun photographs we took as Abbey and Josh’s Sonoma wedding photographer!
