When Sara contacted us here at Tinywater to take her San Francisco wedding photos as her and her now husband, Blain, said their vows at San Francisco City Hall, the most important thing was for the couple to get some portraits with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. We happily obliged and took them on a little adventure around our very favorite city.

The rocks, sand, and Sara’s dress created a gorgeous composition of contrast and texture! We loved attempting to create works of art with each of the San Francisco wedding photos we took with Sara and Blain.

Sara and Blain are both in the army, and Blain looked so daunting and chivalrous in his Army Class A uniform. These two knew they wanted to keep their wedding small, and decided that San Francisco’s City Hall was the place they wanted to make their relationship official. We couldn’t have chosen a better day or location for their elopement and San Francisco wedding photos!

This is some serious Golden Gate love going on right here. Sara wasn’t afraid of getting her dress a bit sandy all in the name of helping us capture her and Blain’s beautiful love in their San Francisco wedding photos.

We frolicked through the small eucalyptus groves for these intimate bride and groom portraits with our newlywed couple.

This one through the leaves is such a darling peek into the romance these two share.

As we headed down to the beach Blain helped ease Sara’s chill from the wind coming off the bay by lending her his coat – so sweet!

Our last location included a quiet walk on the beach to end Sara and Blain’s very special wedding day.

Wind blown hair, a flowing dress, and all smiles. That’s what we call a perfect destination San Francisco wedding day! We are so happy for Sara and Blain on their newlywed status and we cannot thank these two enough for inviting us along on their San Francisco elopement adventure. We wish them all of the luck and love in the world as they continue on as both best friends, and husband and wife! ♥
