Tiffany and Patrick’s wedding ceremony at the Mather Redwood Grove gave us the opportunity to take some breathtaking vintage wedding photos and portraits. We love this one of the couple embracing beneath the towering Redwood trees. From the ceremony within the Mather Redwood Grove we moved throughout the University of California Berkeley’s Botanical Garden for more portraits and vintage wedding photos of the entire wedding party before heading to the reception at the Berkeley City Club.
The colors and textures of the bridesmaid’s flower bouquets were the perfect complements of yellows and orange and peaches to the girls’ bright aqua bridesmaid dresses.
These portraits of Tiffany with her bridesmaids and Patrick with his groomsmen made such beautiful vintage wedding photos!
This is one of my favorite fun vintage wedding photos of Patrick and Tiffany on their big day. Their facial expressions and Patrick with the rake is very American Gothic! This photograph was taken right outside the path leading into the Mather Redwood Grove, providing a perfect dark green backdrop for the couple.
These two made it easy for us to take perfect vintage wedding photos and portraits of them. The texture of Patrick’s shirt and tie along with Tiffany’s veil make these portraits dynamic and fun.
These vintage wedding photos of the bride and groom are timeless and will last a lifetime. I am sure they will be sharing these with their families for years to come.
After playing in the Mather Redwood Grove and University of California Berkeley’s Botanical Garden, we moved the party to the Berkeley City Club for the wedding reception. The Berkeley City Club architecture is a perfect mix of Romanesque and Moorish styles, complete with leaded glass windows, six stories of concrete walls, and a gorgeous indoor swimming pool. It was a perfect setting for Tiffany and Patrick’s vintage wedding, where the terra cotta tiles and tall glass windows paired perfectly with Tiffany’s wedding gown.
We had a great time photographing these two lovebirds! In our next post we’ll move from outside the Berkeley City Club to inside for their wedding reception and traditional Chinese tea ceremony!
