When Tinywater was busy getting ready to be Tiffany and Patrick’s San Francisco wedding photographer, we were excited to hear that their ceremony was going to take place in Berkeley’s Mather Redwood Grove! Mather Redwood Grove is located on the University of California Berkeley campus within the Botanical Gardens. The stadium style amphitheater is surrounded by towering redwood trees, creating an intimate and enchanted setting for Tiffany and Patrick’s wedding ceremony.
Tiffany had two gorgeous dresses for her big day, the first being a white vintage style wedding dress and the second was a traditional Chinese red gown. We get excited about wardrobe changes like these because as a San Francisco wedding photographer, it gives us the opportunity to get more diverse photographs and portraits of the bride!
The lighting and quietness of these individual bride and groom portraits are perfection. I can almost feel the anticipation Tiffany and Patrick were feeling as they got ready for their wedding day to begin!
The architecture of this indoor pool was a great background and frame for these portraits of Patrick. The blue-green of the pool water compliments his orange tie so nicely. And what a stylish choice of the subtle checkered shirt!
As a San Francisco wedding photographer, we welcome the addition of fun props to our portraits, like the groomsmen with these pool noodles!
Overlooking the beautifully historic University of California Berkeley campus. Tinywater loves being a San Francisco wedding photographer because it also allows us to work in the surrounding areas including Berkeley and beyond! Tiffany is so pretty as she checks the placement of her veil before the ceremony.
You may kiss your bride! After the ceremony Tiffany and Patrick went for a short walk through the Mather Redwood Grove. We really enjoyed being their San Francisco wedding photographer because this place seems even more enchanted when you’re there celebrating a love like theirs!
We loved the aqua bridesmaid dresses paired with the pops of peach and orange in the flower bouquets. We can’t wait to share more images from Tiffany and Patrick’s vintage wedding, including Tiffany’s traditional Chinese gown and the Chinese tea ceremony at the Berkeley City Club!
