Brittany & Scott: Sonoma Engagement

And we’re back with more beautiful images from Brittany and Scott’s Cornerstone Sonoma engagement session. If you haven’t had a chance to make it out to Sonoma to check out Cornerstone Gardens, then you are in for a treat! Cornerstone Sonoma “is an ever-changing series of walk-through gardens, showcasing new and innovative designs from the world’s finest landscape architects and designers. The first such gallery-style gardens in the United States, the nine-acre Cornerstone Gardens was created as an inspiration and resource for people interested in gardens, garden design and art.”

Cornerstone Sonoma is conveniently located at the gateway to Sonoma and Napa wine country! While you are there you can peruse the shops, wineries, and grab a bite at the gourmet cafe on site. With all of this awesomeness, it’s no wonder Brittany and Scott chose Cornerstone Sonoma for their gorgeous engagement session with us!

This might be one of my favorites from this Sonoma engagement session. But with so many awesome portraits of Brittany and Scott, it is really hard to choose! We just love how happy Brittany looks to be preparing to marry her best friend and the way Scott looks over at her with such an endearing and comfortable smile.

We’re loving this bright red wall as a backdrop for more Sonoma engagement photos of Brittany and Scott. And it’s perfectly paired with Brittany’s bright yellow sweater!

A sneaky peek at an intimate moment between the bride and groom to be!

We can’t get through an engagement session without a silly session of funny faces and a long laugh to follow! Brittany and Scott were a dream to work with, both in this Cornerstone Sonoma engagement session and their recent wedding we also photographed!

This fun pipe is part of the Planet Horticulture garden at Cornerstone Sonoma. Designed by David McCrory and Roger Raiche in 1996, this exhibition is a “celebration of color, texture, diversity, light, space and life.” We love the unique lighting we get inside the pipe and the fun silhouettes Brittany and Scott were able to make together.

Brittany & Scott: Cornerstone Sonoma Engagement

As we wrapped up shooting Brittany and Scott’s wedding a few weekends ago, we thought it was about time to post their Cornerstone Sonoma engagement photos! We met Brittany and Scott at the gorgeous Cornerstone Sonoma venue located at 23570 Arnold Drive in Sonoma, California. Keep reading for some of our favorite engagement photos from this lovely couple’s engagement session!

The welcome sign to Cornerstone Sonoma shows off a little of the modern meets wine country style that this unique and eclectic venue is known for – completely with multiple sculpture gardens, it is always a treat for us to visit as a Sonoma wedding or engagement photographer!

Brittany and Scott showed off their classic yet modern style with layering, mixing patterns, and Brittany’s bright pop of yellow cardigan! In perfect engagement outfits, we couldn’t wait to explore Cornerstone Sonoma with these two to see what was in store for our modern engagement session.

How fun is this little serious of photos? We had many more laughs and cute moments as we worked our way through one of our favorite wine country venues. Cornerstone Sonoma has multiple gardens which showcase the talents and innovation of some of the world’s top landscape architects! When you visit Cornerstone Sonoma there is no doubt you will find some of the most unique textures and sculptures and backdrops for your engagement, wedding, or event!

Brittany and Scott were so dear to each other throughout the shoot. We love being Sonoma engagement photographers with couples as easygoing as they are. At Tinywater, you can constantly hear us squealing, “We have the best clients!” And it is so true! We like to say that when each couple asks us to be part of their event they become part of our Tinywater family.

More details from one of Cornerstone Sonoma’s amazing sculptures. This one had hundreds of red crystal drops that would sway with the breeze and captured the wine country sun as we photographed this cute moment between Brittany and Scott.

Matthieu & Regina: San Francisco City Hall Wedding

Our dear friends Matthieu and Regina recently had an intimate civil ceremony at San Francisco City Hall. With their actual wedding coming up and taking place in France, we were so happy to be able to be part of this intimate gathering at San Francisco City Hall.

We love these photos of Matthieu and Regina getting their paperwork ready for the civil ceremony. The sunlight filtering in through the many windows inside San Francisco City Hall’s gorgeous architecture was perfect as always for this very special occasion.

Regina carried a simple bouquet of seven pink and blush peonies, perfectly reflected in Matthieu’s light pink striped tie. Matthieu’s single orange rose in his boutonniere provided this civil ceremony with another little pop of color.

We all looked on with big smiles as the judge began the ceremony inside San Francisco City Hall. We couldn’t have been any happier to witness our friends proclaim their love for each other.

The rings and vows were exchanged, and the judge gave the okay for the bride and groom to kiss! It was a joyous moment in front of Matthieu and Regina’s small and intimate gathering of family and friends at the top of the grand staircase at San Francisco City Hall. After the ceremony commenced, it was time to borrow the happy couple for just a few portraits to celebrate their day.

Regina and Matthieu make such a gorgeous couple! These guys were glowing with love as we spent a few minutes with them after their civil ceremony.

One of our favorite parts of capturing weddings and elopement ceremonies at San Francisco City Hall is how bustling with energy it always seems to be. There are always meetings and business going on around the ceremonies, but these couples always find a quiet, intimate moment to share between the two of them in the midst of it all.

We couldn’t help but have a few giggles before we left the building. Aren’t they just the cutest?

Regina and Matthieu are about ready to scoot off to France for their real wedding! We can’t thank them enough for being so amazing and allowing us to take part in their San Francisco ceremony and wish them the best with their nuptials abroad! ♥
