Leila: Napa Valley Bridal Shower

December 26th, 2011

We hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season and to warm up from the cold, we want to share Leila’s sunny bridal shower that took place at The Carneros Inn in Napa Valley. Leila’s bridal shower was an entire weekend of food, friends, and fun in wine country. You might recognize The Carneros Inn from our last few posts on Monique and Tony’s Napa Valley elopement ceremony! If you enjoyed their photos, read on for more images from this beautiful venue during this gorgeous bridal luncheon.

This family style table was perfect for seating Leila’s bridesmaids and guests and allowing everyone to share in the same conversation and fun. This midday bridal shower was lemon themed and absolutely perfect for the outdoor farm feel that we love about the Carneros Inn, which is located along the Sonoma Highway overlooking the surrounding vineyards.

These girls really know how to wrap pretty presents! We loved being Leila’s Napa Valley bridal shower photographer and getting the chance to capture the memories of this very special time with her best girlfriends! There’s nothing like a relaxing vacation to ease away wedding day stress, especially when you are staying at spectacular Carneros Inn resort!

The invitations to this bridal weekend celebration were the perfect pairing of lemon yellow and delicate lace details. It went great with the combination of the lemons and lush floral arrangements laid out along the luncheon table.

The antique white cake stands helped create this fun vintage feel, and the view of the vineyards in the distance were just stunning in this light. The Carneros Inn has definitely become one of our favorite places in Napa Valley!

No party is complete without cake pops! While these girls really paid attention to detail, we love how effortless this entire bridal weekend felt. It must have been the sweet open air in wine country that helped everyone really enjoy themselves!

The perfect location, perfect table setting, and perfect lighting makes for a perfect party! Stay tuned for the rest of these gorgeous bridal shower photos taken at Napa Valley’s one and only Carneros Inn!

San Francisco Mini Session: Brittany

December 21st, 2011

Moving from Brianna’s mini session to her sister Brittany, we absolutely are in love with these candid family portraits with baby that we captured as the Hanson’s San Francisco portrait photographer.

Brittany’s beautiful baby boy has the most precious little smile we’ve ever seen! We can’t wait to watch this little guy grow up!

We finished up Brittany and Brianna’s mini sessions with these lovely portraits with mom and the whole group. Thanks to all for allowing Tinywater to be your San Francisco portrait photographer!

San Francisco Mini Session: Brianna

December 20th, 2011

Moving along in sharing our Tinywater mini sessions, here we have Brianna and her husband with us within Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California. We love being San Francisco portrait photographers for such fun couples like these guys!

Our favorite part of this mini session was that we had the whole Hanson family in attendance, with Brianna’s sister Brittany there for back to back mini sessions. This allowed us time to take fun sister portraits and group shots with the family. The photos from their sessions are perfect for gifting during the holidays!

San Francisco Portrait Session: The Banwellunds

December 19th, 2011

If you are on the Tinywater studio newsletter mailing list then you know we’ve been keeping ourselves busy playing San Francisco portrait photographer with our exclusive holiday mini sessions! What better way to wrap up the year than with some gorgeous and timeless Tinywater family portraits? Plus, they are just in time for sending out with your holiday greeting cards. We want to show off a few of our favorites from each mini session and today we’ll start off with the lovely Banwellunds.

We ventured out into the Garden of Shakespeare’s Flowers inside the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco as the Banwellund’s San Francisco portrait photographer. The setting was perfect for capturing Julie and Jon with their new little bundle of joy!

Look at those tiny toes! We had a blast meeting their new baby and being the Banwellund family’s San Francisco portrait photographer, and can’t wait to share more from our mini session family portraits.

Just an hour from San Francisco, we spent the day with Monique and Tony at their intimate Carneros Inn wedding in the heart of wine country. These two were high school sweethearts so choosing to elope in the beautiful Napa Valley Carneros Inn apple orchard a week after their fifteenth anniversary, we couldn’t wait to capture their precious memories!

We took a break from the sun and headed inside to the Carneros Inn bar. I love the purple wall behind the bar paired with Monique’s red pumps! These two were up for some exploration of the property with us, giving us ample opportunities to take some unique photographs that these two can cherish forever.

We loved the location because the Carneros Inn is the perfect mix of rustic meets contemporary design, complete with barns and cottages but with modern amenities and interiors. We checked out one of their Bianchi rental bikes to use as a silly prop for some fun wedding day portraits with Monique and Tony. The teal frame and red tires perfectly complemented her shoes!

Back outside, Monique opted for some fun cowboy boots to venture out into the vineyards. There was no need for outside decorations to be brought in because the grounds of the Carneros Inn are already naturally stunning! The tall grass and grape vines felt so magical with the sun beaming down creating the perfect wedding day for Monique and Tony.

This couple could not stop smiling at each other! Even with the camera off, we could see how completely happy they were together just by glancing at their beaming faces.

The bridal bouquet was so unique! With patterned flower petals and dried hay accents, it fit in nicely with the setting Carneros Inn provided.

Finding this field of flowers and tall grass at the Carneros Inn property was like a dream come true for Monique, who originally envisioned an intimate ceremony at sunset in a beautiful field of wild flowers. We felt so lucky that we were able to share in their intimate wedding day which was limited to so few people, and we hope that they are in love with the photos we were able to capture.

Halberg Photographers - LOVE the sexy pictures showing off her legs, beautiful job on this Carneros Wedding!
Bailey Wiggle - Who is the dress designer? I am in awe of this sexy, yet classy wedding dress.
Tinywater - Hi Bailey! We aren't sure of the the dress designer, but if I find out I will post back here to let you know! :)
