Lauren + Erik: Kunde Winery Wedding

March 12th, 2012

Lauren and Erik said their I Do’s last october at the ever gorgeous Kunde Winery. The Kunde Family Estate measures an impressive 1,850 acres of pure wine country beauty in the Sonoma Valley.

The rolling hillsides of vineyards and lush vegetation perfectly pairs with the gorgeous blue Northern California skies, and it’s no wonder that Lauren and Erik fell in love with Kunde Winery immediately upon arriving here.

The various buildings tucked away on the Kunde Winery property are perfect for the bride getting ready before the ceremony and for guests to escape the sun.

After Lauren was made up and dressed, her parents arrived to escort her to the ceremony site. The photo of the bride assisting her father with his boutonniere was a great father daughter moment.

As Lauren gets ready, Erik does the same in a separate location on the Kunde Winery estate with his brother and friends to help out.

On the way to the ceremony, we capture this quiet contemplative moment of Lauren. We can’t wait to arrive to the ceremony site and help celebrate their wedding!

The simple, yet picturesque ceremony site is prepped before the guests and bridal party arrives with pink and white petals to decorate the aisle, and crisp white chairs for their intimate Kunde Winery wedding. The large trees around the property provided a fun texture against the bright blue skies while providing a welcome shade to the altar where Lauren and Erik will be joined in marriage.

Glass jars were filled with a variety of pink roses and foliage and hung from the aisle chairs at the ceremony to help tie in Lauren and Erik’s pink color theme.

Lauren finally arrives to the ceremony, and proceeds towards the aisle with her parents to meet Erik at the altar. Everyone is all smiles as they get ready to exchange their vows!

These two could not stop beaming, and were completely immersed in the moment. The ceremony was so perfect, and the venue and weather couldn’t have been better.

We can’t wait to show what’s coming up next from Lauren and Erik’s elegant outdoor Kunde Winery wedding!

Emily + Greg: Viansa Winery Wedding Photos

March 7th, 2012

Onto our favorite part of Emily and Greg’s Viansa Winery wedding as their Sonoma wedding photographer, their portraits!

The Viansa Winery’s vine covered walls are almost so perfect they seem unreal! We love using these shaded alleyways and covered walls as textures for our portraits and wedding day photos.

One of Greg’s favorite activities is shooting hoops with his friends, so we couldn’t help but snap a few groom portraits with his basketball!

Greg and his groomsmen were most dapper in their crisp button down shirts and black bow ties. The wedding was a formal black tie affair, and these guys started out in their casual Converses before changing into their formal shoes for the Viansa Winery ceremony.

But these guys were so fun, they just had to throw a splash of surprise into the mix with their matching bright argyle socks!

We are pretty impressed at how this photo of Emily and Greg’s gorgeous shoes really portrays their personalities! Finding unique portrait opportunities is so fun for us and helps mix up the couple session a bit.

Following along with the wedding day color theme, Emily’s bridesmaids were clad in pretty pink knee length dresses, which were a perfect pop of color against Viansa Winery’s green vines! Even their floral bouquets were a mix of whites, reds, pinks, and purples, while Emily was a gorgeous contrast of an all white gown and bouquet.

Emily and Greg with their entire bridal party of eight!

Wedding day silliness! It is so important to us here at Tinywater that you are as comfortable as possible with us, because it helps us capture you at your best! With Emily and Greg, this was not hard at all – we can’t say enough good things about these newlyweds!

As the sun sets over the wine country valley, the sky gets a little hazy, and we fall even more in love with where we are and what we do. Emily and Greg made Viansa Winery even more beautiful than ever with these last few portraits.

We hope you are a little more inspired for your big day with these photos from Emily and Greg’s Viansa Winery wedding.
