What a colorful and fun engagement session! Julie and Jon are having a stylised 1920′s themed wedding later on in the fall. We had SO MUCH FUN shooting their session! We first started the session with Julie and Jon in their 1920′s clothing and later on hit another local location with their “normal” clothes. We got tons and tons of photos from this session. Julie is an artist and she let me have creative freedom with their photography, I love it!
Isn’t Julie gorgeous? All the colors just worked so well in this one!!
Making vintage-y photos for fun! We were bummed that the Rotunda at the Palace of Fine Arts was going through retrofitting but we made do =)
I love Julie’s birdcage veil and lace choker detail. Her hair color is amazing!!
At our next location, I found this awesome, awesome tree. I fell in love with it and I even climbed up into the tree to take photos.
The cherry blossoms were blooming still and you know me and cherry blossoms!
Highlighting Julie’s tattoo and personal artist trademark.
Isn’t the light amazing? It’s 100% natural lighting, no lie!
Having fun and goofing around at the end of our session.
Julie and Jon, you were a blast and made the photos look good. I had trouble narrowing down to just 26 photos for the blog. I loved how the colors just pop and you all know color is important to me! I can’t wait for our 2nd session!
I would so love to work with more creative brides! I would just like to encourage all brides out there to make their wedding unique, and take the time to be creative and have some fun in all the planning. Remember, it’s YOUR special day!
